Altered States (4th September) - Bailey starts to become annoyed with Sarah when she flirts with a member of her band. He tells her she is not conveying the sweet image she used to and he doesn't like her current image. Julia decides to take a trip to New Orleans to see Griffin but nothing happens between them. Claudia starts learning Spanish to impress a Mexican boy she met. Charlie tells Kathleen he doesn't love her after she suggests a more serious relationship. She then od's on sleeping pills and Charlie has to help her.

Happily Ever After (5th September) - Bailey learns that their grandfather has a daughter from another wife. He makes the decision that the grandfather should leave their house where he is staying. Julia and Justin grow apart even more and Justin decides to write a story based around their relationship. Kathleen wins an award on TV and professes her love for Charlie. Charlie tells Kathleen that Kirsten wants to date again but when Kathleen rings up Kirsten she finds out Kirsten was out of town and that Charlie was using it as an excuse. At the end of the episode Kathleen tells Charlie she is going to buy Sallinger's so Charlie will be out of a job.

Spring Breaks Part 1 (6^th September) - Joe arrives back at the restaurant and informs Charlie that he has heard about the proposed purchase of Salinger's restaurant by Kathleen and her associates. Joe then says he will have to shut Salinger's down. Charlie goes and gets drunk and is then arrested for being drunk and disorderly. Sarah and Matt(a member of the band she's in) are attacked by a mugger but escape with some minor scratches. Matt then proceeds to try and kiss Sarah but she does not return the kiss. Julia joins a photography club and sees Justin with another girl who turns out to just be a friend. However a man at the club tries to kiss her but Julia does not return it. Claudia goes to a party with her friend Jody and is disgusted when a boy tries to make a move on her. At the end of the episode Charlie goes to ask Kirsten out again but she says she is marrying someone else.

Spring Breaks Part 2 (7^th September) - It seems to be the end of Salinger's as Kathleen and her associates are about to confirm the takeover of the building. However Bailey saves the day when he donates his collage money to save the place. Bailey tells Sarah that their relationship is over but in the end they get back together. Julia and Justin however break up and stay that way. Claudia feels that her friend Jody who is now dating is leaving her out. Charlie goes to see Kirsten again but in the end she cancels her wedding and comes back to him to start over again.

1.Pilot (8^th September) - Bailey leases a nice new jeep but the family have money problems. Charlie blows some money on an investment so goes to Joe for some help. Joe hires him as a bar tender. Julia goes out with a guy called PK but he breaks it off after their first date. Bailey hires a new nanny called Kirsten as he takes a liking to her. Claudia moves into a tent as the family has space problems.

2.Homework (9^th September) - Julia tries to change her nerdy image by going to a party. The next day she gets an F in English though. Her teacher says that if she does another piece of work she can still get an A. However Julia has to help Bailey with some of his homework so does not do this other piece of work. Julia however starts to befriend a cool girl called Nina. Bailey is infatuated with Kirsten and gets angry when she asks Charlie out. To make matters worst Bailey had told her that he used to have an imaginary friend and she forwards this information to the rest of the family. Claudia tries to track down their long lost grandfather but her search is in vain.

3.Good Sports (10^th September) - Julia's new friends coax Julia into having a party. This happens 3 times and the third time the house is left trashed. Bailey gets suspended from the Football team for refusing to tell on one of his friends. Charlie discovers Kirsten new boyfriend has lied to her about his profession and when he tells her she becomes annoyed with him.

4.Worth Waiting For (13^th September) - Charlie and Kirsten get back together again. Julia's friend Nina sleeps with someone so Julia decides to go to the cinema with Justin. She then asks him to have sex with her but when she notices that Nina's boyfriend has cheated on her she decides against it. Claudia has many questions about sex and Julia offers her help to Claudia. Bailey meets a girl called Kate but she is dating someone else.

5.All's Fair (14th September) - Julia gets a new job in a club and in order to get the job lies about her age. An old flame of Charlie's visits town and Charlie cheats on Kirsten with her. Bailey tries his hardest to get Kate to go out with him and succeeds in the end. Claudia enters a violin competition but fails to win.

5.Fathers and Sons (15^th September) - Charlie takes over part time as manager of Salinger's but has a rocky time. Bailey and Kate's father meet for the first time but Bailey makes a poor impression. Julia lets ex boyfriend PK stay at their house as his stepfather has been hitting him. However when the police get involved PK has to leave.

6.Much Ado (16^th September) - Kirsten discovers Charlie cheated on her and resigns as Owen's nanny. Charlie then bumps into Julia at the club where she used a fake ID to be hired. Owen comes down with meningitis but the operation on him suceeds so he is ok.

7.Kiss Me Kate (17^th September) - Claudia begins to think slightly too high of herself after a good write up of her performance in the paper. Julia is caught playing truant and is asked to revert to her normal self by Charlie. She agrees to start working a bit harder thankfully. Charlie is busy at work on a new woodwork project. He then sells his work for a good price. Bailey and Kate fall out when Kate refuses to sleep with Bailey. The new nanny is fired after turning up drunk one day.

8.Something Out Of Nothing (20th September) - Claudia finds out Ross is gay and starts to miss lessons. However she does learn to accept it after a while and starts lessons again. A friend of the family visits and tries to organize Claudia and Bailey's love life. She sets up Bailey with a girl but they don't get along. Bailey then sees her naked and realises that as she did not turn away she likes him. The friend sets Julia up on a photo shoot with a photographer who she claims to be an old friend. Charlie finds out that she didn't know him and tells Julia. The friend leaves for a hotel. Bailey goes to see her and they nearly end up having sex. Julia and Bailey go to the school dance. Bailey has no success but Julia dances with every boy at the dance.

9.Thanksgiving (21^st September) - The drunk driver who killed the family's parents is released. Claudia secretly goes to see him but Charlie finds out. Then Bailey goes and gives him a piece of his mind (he's annoyed). Then Julia and Charlie go to see him. Apart from that nothing happens.
